Color of the Day: Purple

Yay for purple! It's my favourite color... although my adoration for most hues on the spectrum is quite high, and thus the term "favourite" should be taken lightly. XD Purple, especially lavender, reminds me of softness, youth, and sleepiness. Dark purples remind me of royalty, and also can create an enigmatic atmosphere.

Heliotrope- a light purple color, similar to that typical of heliotrope flowers.
As the smell of lavender proliferated the room, she laid to rest in the soft sheets of her bed- the heliotrope coverings acting as an emollient on her worn-out skin.
